The Bass Station Plug-In is shipped with these original 100 sounds for immediate use. The patches cover a sonic range from screaming leads to phatt funky basses. (Mouse position determines velocity) Industry Standard VST (for PC Platforms) and MAC Audio Unit Plug-in format Sounds created in original Bass Station or Bass Rack can be uploaded into Plug In or vice-versa Software Plug-in instrument version of Bass Station Keyboard and Rack synthesizer Generation process Oscillators with the classic waveforms The character of the two Oscillators has been crafted to provide the classic sawtooth and square waveforms of the original instruments. The filter has been designed to deliver the character from the original Bass Station. Switch from 24dB to 12dB mode and the filter controls behave in the same manner as the controls of Roland’s classic TB303. Enhanced Classic panel The original Bass Station front panel has been 3D modelled and additional controls have been added for ease of use. The Filter envelope has its own set of ADSR controls and OSC1 and OSC2 have their own section for pitch modulation and PWM control. All controls transmitt and receive MIDI controller numbers for the recording and replay of tweaks during a performance. Accessing the additional parameter editing screen is a single mouse click away. One click and the keyboard lifts to reveal extra functions such as Wheel, Aftertouch and Breath control along with a variety system wide settings. Instances limited only by the power of the PC or MAC in use The Bass Station delivers a monophonic voice for each instance that is used. Call up an instance of the Bass Station and there is immediately a new Bass or Lead sound available that will sit in the mix. The ability to use multiple ‘instances’ allows the Bass Station to run as many multi-timbral parts as the power of the host computer will allow.
