Miss Yetti (Henrietta Schermall) lives in Cologne opposite the record shop "Delirium". While studying for the diploma of psychology she worked as barkeeper and doorkeeper. One day she started inspired by Housemusic and the Cologne Vibes bying records at the "Delirium". She got in touch with "Jorg Burger", "Sweet Reinhard", "Michael Meyer" and their surroundings. A good friend , Charles L´admiral, showed her how to mix. Right away she was invited to present her first Rave gig at the "Orion Rave" in Bottrop, because another DJ had to cancel his appearence. An introductory interview after her set "Raveline" introduced the newly discovered D`jane thereby took care of her growing recognition.
Further inquiries for bookings and a resident job in the "Ufo- Club" in Cologne followed. Bionic Beats looked after Yettis Bookings throughout Germany. In 1994 her first records were produced together with Thorsten Stenzel, who approached at an After Hour. This led to a first cooperation and both produced for Thorstens Label Liquid Rec.
Tracks like "La pression innovative" and "Les jeux superieurs" quickly advanced to Club Hits, because the musical connections with Mr. Stenzel gave new emphasized impulses.
In 1995 Yetti organized her own series of parties for the Cologne Scene by filling a musical gap between House and Techno. Djs like Paul Cooper, Oliver Bonzio, Chris Dis and others supported this idea. As the musical progress of Yetti rather drifted towards the Detroit Underground trend and Thorsten Stenzel rather towards the Overground trance, their ways of production separated piece by piece.
End of 1995: because of her studies Yetti moved from Cologne to Berlin.
Together with the Brain in 1996 Yetti published "The Underground Kitter", "The missing knife" and "Pad Unique" on the Berlin Monocultur Label. Because of this background and her musical very euphoric impressive, brilliant sound, she convinced also at the "Mayday". The track "Neo Pren" was created specially for the corresponding Mayday Compilation.
1997 still further productions like "Lattaque", "La femme longue", "Painful experience" and "Unagi" appeared on Liquid Rec.
May 1998: together with Oscar Comas she founded the label Gold und Liebe Tontrager . This label shall provide expansion for future musical experimental trends. The first release "Versus e.p." goes back to the label makers themselves. Productions of Antonio Montana (alias Johannes Heil) and the Austrian Duo "Dietmar Lehnert and Thomas Biebl" followed.
1999 Yetti was "The best female DJ 1999" selected by the "raveline" magazine readers.
