The new 30th Anniversary Proteus 1000 is a powerful 64 Voice Expandable Sound Module that celebrates the sound quality and synthesis features of the Proteus 2000. Proteus 1000 offers the same 32 MB Composer soundset and fast processor as the Proteus 2000, delivering dead-on MIDI timing for complex sequences. Proteus 1000 also provides an additional 32 MB ROM slot, so you can expand your sounds using any of the available Proteus ROMs ... you can even author your own custom sound ROMs using E-MU's E4 Ultra samplers. The 12 programmable front panel controllers allow you to perform and record a host of parameter changes in real-time, giving you total control of your sounds.
